I was wondering this, but don't think you do according to T+C here
    http://www.tesco.com/clubcard/doublepoints/

Offer valid for standard Clubcard points only, and does not apply to points awarded on any promotional points offer, ......., Tesco Personal Finance products, E-ON or Clubcard Plus. Excludes mobile phone airtime, ........, fuel and petrol filling station purchases

    So looks
Grocery shop - not getting any more pts now with TC+
Fuel - don't get new double pts but retain old double pts with TC+
Yes you do ive got a cc+ and you get the regular 2 points on youre shopping or 1 point on youre fuel, then if you spend say £20 on your cc+ card tesco finance will add a further 20 points, this will be added to account a couple of days later.

Have you checked and confirmed you are getting both tc+ pts and the extra 1pt they have recently added or just assumed you still were

I have a CC+ card. My receipt from Friday showed:

Points this visit 51, includes new extra points 24, bag reuse 3

At the bottom of the receipt TPF Bonus Points 282 - this value keeps going up, so I'm still earning 1 additional point per pound spent at Tesco

Seems contrary to what they say on their site, but what the hey, seems like they are still.

I read the T&C's as meaning you don't double the clubcard plus TPF points, just double the normal points, then add the TPF points.

Just like you don't double any extra promo points but you still get double the spend points (recent mobile phone promo eg spend £50 on a phone with extra 1000 points would result in 1100 points.)

So for CC+ double normal points plus the usual TPF points = effectively 3 x points :j

Yes, now I have re-read it, that makes more sense. Thanks

For fuel though, is it still only the one normal point and the extra CC+ point?

Excludes mobile phone airtime, ......., fuel and petrol filling station purchases.

Yes, because Tesco as a company are not offering double points on petrol(apart from when they do their temporary offers) so CC+ owners just get the normal one point plus the extra CC+ point on petrol.

Has anyone had any success recently in opening one of these accounts or is it as I suspect that they are no longer available for new applications?

Last I heard no longer available. Just got excited reading OP then realised how old it was. I'd much prefer to pay for groceries in advance rather than in arrears as with the Tesco credit card.:(
