I'm very fond of St Ives - I had my first proper kiss there after a disco :o
I used to swim for their swimming club years ago.

I used to go to their market. When I finally got my hands on some money (from babysitting probably) when I was 14, I went there and bought what I thought was a trendy midi-skirt and orange jumper. Nice jumper, looked great with the skirt, shame one sleeve was 4" longer than the other one. Always had to wear it with the sleeves rolled up.

I was probably wearing bright orange or yellow at the disco - it was the 80s!

deganwy and llandudno is basically the same place

When I'm at my friends place on Conwy Marina and it's raining on us and up and down the river and out to sea, it's amazing how often Deganwy opposite is basking in sunshine. Perhaps that's why houses are more expensive there? ;)

Meanwhile, over on some rough estate in Huntingdon (allegedly on bonfire night you might find your front door was removed for the bonfire by the badduns) a mid-terrace 2-bed on about 3 levels was costing about £15-18k.

Oxmoor estate. #Shudders# There was a thing in the local paper that Tesco will not deliver there anymore as their drivers were being attacked.

    Hampshire... yayyyyyy !!

Speaking as someone who lives in an area of Hampshire where house prices are, on average, 9.5x average local salary......

    Hampshire......sigh!!

My school used to send me in a dodgy uniform into the Oxmoor Estate to go and help out at a special needs school. Might as well have tattooed victim on my forehead.
