morning all - feeling full of the joys! day 1 of my new eating plan... !
had porridge this morning.... hmmmmn, it was interesting! however it was food, so not complaining.... i've actually bought sachets of porridge before and TBH there wasn't much different, even conventional sachet porridge can be disgusting! i prefer my real scots porrige oats, but all in good time, all in good time!
hugs and fingers crossed postive vibes as appropriate!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -

Morning all, feeling a bit
this morning after a couple of long chats* with D last night. He's very confused about what he wants - he says he loves me but isn't ready for a serious relationship, which I understand, and I'd accepted that it wasn't going to work between us. But then he talks about us being together in the future, and part of me really wants that, but part of me thinks I should walk away now. In the meantime he says he wants to be friends, which I'm happy to be because I do like him despite the recent twuntishness, but then he talks to me the same way he always did, which isn't exactly friend-like. Gahhhh MEN!
I know what you will all say lol....

Morning all :hello:
After a little weep last night I had a long nath and a think. Not going to let the redundancy get me down. Not like I was loving the job anyway and this is the kick up the bum I needed to make a change. I've had a few funny looks this morning as I came sailing in with a big smile and a cheery hello to everyone.
Will find out this afternoon whether I need to come in next week because I had booked the last 2 weeks in January off using annual leave I won't have earned...26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

Is it definite then Luc? (wasn't on last night so have probably missed something). Good on you for looking at the positives, am sure you'll find something better.

Hi Luc. I was sorry to read about your news last night but glad that you are feeling positive today.
I hope it doesn't move the goalposts about you leaving today as you were sooooo looking forward to it.
Keep smiling x0 -

How about you suggest a period of no contact for 3 months to let the emotions of the last few weeks settle and then arrange to meet when its not all so fresh and dramatic (for want of a better word). That way you'll both be that bit more removed from what has happened in the last month and will also be further along the path you need to go down with exes?
You might meet up in 3 months and wonder what the hell you were thinking or you might just realise you are meant to be together and start ripping each others' clothes off;)
Does that make sense at all?
