sorry went to sleep yesterday... so didnt reply.. I was just wondering what other people do when they do online questionnaires cz if its not e-mail, where on earth are you supposed to place them.. I dont want to offend anyone either..

    Zami

I did a mini questionnaire for my 2nd year assignment last year and posted it on MSE Students' moneysaving forum as well as emailed friends and family for their help.
I have another questionnaire to do shortly for my final year and I was hoping that I could post it on MSE again. Whilst the Students' forum was very helpful, it is not as busy as some of the others including this one.
I shall certainly ask the mods for permission just in case, but really though, I wouldn't have thought that this would be a problem as it is not for commercial purposes.

Incidentally, my research project / dissertation is on supermarkets too, although not Aldi. :-)

Don't panic. It's just a few self-declared forum block wardens flying low again.

Do I miss Germany? Not really. I think that Britain is the better run country in many respects. Hey, they let me keep most of my gross salary to start with! The British are more laid back and generally nicer (exceptions everywhere). I also believe that Germany is seriously on the way down.

I don't fly Reihernair* when visiting friends and family. We take the car ferry. That way, we can take more German foodstuffs home. And I'm quite into Polish food now, anyway, since many things are same food as in Germany, just with a different name.

    ---
For the non-Teutonics: "reihern" = German slang for throwing up.

    Hi!!

Just saw your message! The Reihernair association really made me laugh.. I think your right.. with what you were saying about Germany.. my dad runs a construction company and so many bigger companies from which he was getting contracts went bust.. So he decided to move to Glasgow.. after advice given by relatives who live here. The first couple of trips we also took the ferry, cz we had so much stuff.. But it takes really long... And think also its more expensive, if just one or two people are travelling.. Your right, food, apart from friends of course, I really miss the most... Especially bread and salami!! And a proper Doener Kebab.. Lol. Anyway need to go to the library nw to wrk on my dissertation... which has really made life a living nightmare... Anyway hope you have an okay day!! Zami

    Hi alisona!

Thanks for your comment. Yeah I e-mailed now one of the mse members for permission.. I never knew you needed one.. Thaught it was okay. Anyway, also think its weird that its apparently not allowed. Its not that i'm posting it everwhere, and really don't understand where else you place your questionnaires on the internet. Am also e-mailing friends, but as I never bother to store their addresses its a bit limited.. Dont use the internet normally to socialise (bebo, facebook etc) so didnt want to do online questionnaires in the first place but my dissertation supervisor was kinda saying its the best option so didnt want to go against him... Regretting it now.. Anyway what other sites did you use to distribute your questionnaires?
    XX Zami

    P.S. Whats your research topic?

    Hi Zamara

We're happy to leave this one here but if you, or others, would like to post a survey on the forum please do email [Removed by Forum Team] first to ask permission and wait until it's been given before posting and, if it has, please post it in just one place.

    I'm removing the others.

    Thanks!

    Andrea :)
