Was the plug sent recorded delivery? I'm just wondering if they are trying to get out of an item not received dispute by just sending the lead.0

Did you have to sign for the lead ?Wins: pink kids laptop

just first class royal mail i think thats what was on the listing do you not think its wierd though sending the plug seperate0
-
no post man just knocked and gave it me as it wont go through letter box0

depends on why the seller did this.
It maybe that the printer was only slightly over the weight threshold and taking the plug out saved money.
The printer would have been heavy so proberly went standard parcels and the cable first class.
without more details it would be hard to judge, did the seller let you know what method he used0 -
Perhaps the weight of the plug/lead put the parcel into the next band so it was cheaper to send 2 parcels. Not dodgy if send normal mail, just odd.0

no he just said he had posted it the day before0

A printer would have been sent by parcel post, so would probably take longer to arrive than a plug which could easily go by standard mail, so it is quite likely that the plug would arrive a few days before the printer.
Do you know what service the sender used for the printer? We have removed your signature - please contact the forum team if you are not sure why - Forum Team0
