Is anyone else having problems with the Heinz squirty bottles? We are finding after a few days the plastic goes funny so we have changed back to the glass bottles.0

Never had any problems with their squeezy bottles myself, can you elaborate on 'funny'?We have removed your signature - please contact the forum team if you are not sure why - Forum Team0 -

Sorry folks - I'm gonna rock the boat - it's Asda Smartprice or nothing for me! Can't be doing with Heinz or any of the others and for 27p for approx 500g you can't grumble!
My kids (late teens) were total ketchup snobs! But now they are cured. Yes, cured I tell thee. :money: How did I do it? Simple. A bit of subterfuge and downright old fashioned deception. Unbeknownst to them I kept filling up the empty Heinz ketchup bottle with Asda ketchup (not Smartprice but the 'ordinary' Asda stuff, still a good 50% cheaper than Heinz). Then, after a few months of doing this I put an actual bottle of Asda ketchup in the middle of the table one tea time. 'What's that?' they enquired disdainfully? 'That, I'll have you know, is what you have been happily expelling from that bottle of 'Heinz' ketchup for the last 3 months, this fact ws quickly confirmed by their mother and we have not had a problem since. :rotfl:Call me Carmine....
HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??0 -
I dont know about nowadays but the glass bottles used to be much cheaper than the squeezy ones.
That's still true these days too, but I prefer squeezy bottles. I did once buy glass bottles and decant it into a squeezy bottle at home, but it was a messy process and I just couldn't be bothered, so I switched back to shop bought squeezyWe have removed your signature - please contact the forum team if you are not sure why - Forum Team0 -

We always have the Heinz squirty bottles. Never had a problem.
Apart from the time I got mad at one of the kids and smashed a bottle down on the worktop. It was the biggest squeezy bottle you can get, and it was full, and it went everywhere.

Hang about- since when did a tomato ketchups taste or worth become based on the amount of tomatos in it? if you are really that concerned space boy, why not try tomato chutney or even better- a fresh tomato cut into pieces...most people would not do this as the taste is not as sharp- so add some vinegar, add some fillers, add some sugar and...oh no, thats heinz0
