tomato ketchup - my findings

I usually look at the ingredients atc when I'm out shopping, and tomato ketchup is interesting. Heinz does not use the most topmatoes in its ketchup yet it is the most expensive. The Branston one uses significantly more tomatoes and tastes better for it imo. There's also a Polish brand that I've seen in a few shops rcently which is cheaper than Branston and has even more tomatoes, but it has a slightly odd taste imo, not bad though.
Anyway I think Heinz Ketchup is poor value and I dont buy it.

It's all rather dependent on personal taste though isn't it?
I prefer the taste of Heinz over Branston, so I'm not going to stop buying it just because it apparently contains less tomato than another brandWe have removed your signature - please contact the forum team if you are not sure why - Forum Team0 -

Then you prefer the taste of sugar over tomato. Simply put, the Branston is better value as it has better ingredients in it. And it's better for you. And cheaper.0 -

I know. It's the taste of sugar, and it's over-priced.
And? I like the taste of Heinz, I do not like the taste of Branston. I also don't find it over priced, it just depends on where you shop.We have removed your signature - please contact the forum team if you are not sure why - Forum Team0 -
