Whats all this about? How many vouchers do you need? Sorry I don't get the bfs telegraph

Hi Tinkerbell81 you need to collect one voucher per person from the Belfast Telegraph. This then entitles you to one main meal (from a very restricted menu) and a glass of wine for £6.95. Hth.
    Payment A Day £15 (started 17/5/14) :j
  • I went to Spur. It was just ok, bordering on not great. The chips tasted like they had been cooked a couple of times. Have more vouchers and think I'll hit TGI's. 2Taps is excellent, as have been before this offer started.

Are the vouchers still in the paper does anyone know?

I know you have to use them by 5th - but just wondering if still available to get?

    Thanks

If anyone has been on these offere could they please advise of choices as I would be afraid of booking and then finding out that there was nothing I(or more likely DW) would eat. States that some restaurants only have choice of 3.

Last time the offer was on we went to Aldens, ballyhackamore
Cant remember all the choices but there was something for us all to eat. I think several paople had chicken breast in a amdiera sauce or something like that. it sat on some herby mash but we decided to order sides of chips which were as big as pieces of Jenga! Not very many of them but filling and the whole meal was very tasty.
I have booked for The Point for next Wed evening. Ill report back on the choices there.

Twas good thatnks! I had a 6oz rib eye steak with sauce Diane( came with mash)
. DD had chicken in a tarragon sauce, there was another chicken dish and there was haddock and pork I think (cant quite remember)! We ordered a side of fresh veg which was good and also 2 portions of chips between the 4 of us which in all honestly we didnt need, or one would have done.
Nice glass of wine too, shiraz, sauv.b. or rose.
Good relaxed atmosphere, perhaps not quite"fine dining" but enjoyed by all.

Used my vouchers in the Northern Whig yesterday. They had a separate menu for the offer which had on it:
    Scampi & chips
Mushroom risotto (I think...didn't pay too much attention to that dish)
Thai green chicken curry with rice
Confit of chicken with champ & winter veg
    Sausage & mash

The food was very goos and the white wine was a Chilean Sauvignon Blanc which was rather nicer than I expected. The red got good reviews too. There was rose available too but non of us opted for it.

    Well worth £6.95!

In case anyone is interested...The Point in Ballyhackamore is extending the BT Dine for £6.95 offer until the end of November. You don't have to have a voucher either...just mention the Belfast Telegraph offer when you're booking.
