Belfast Telegraph £6.45 offer

Have just booked this for Mourne Seafood restaurant as is one of my favs in Belfast..Has anybody tried the other places in the deal? Never been to 2taps or Dante's but have tried these deals before and you sometimes get half a plate of food (not from the usual menu) and surly service because it's cheap. Love eating out so would be great to have any recommendations!

Used vouchers at Ba Mizu (top of House of Frazer store) in Belfast on Thursday night for 3 of us - OH and DS1. We had a choice of 4 items on special menu - was a bit disappointed when squid was the first choice - yuk!!
However myself and DS1 had roast chicken breast with herbed potato cake & green beans (very good value as came with 2 good size chicken breasts), presentation and service excellent. DH had chilli beef which was a massive portion of steak slices covered in chilli sauce - we cleared everything. This is a really lovely restaurant and was packed by the time we left at 7.00 pm with most people out on the BT offer. Would def recommend and hope to return some time in the future to try out their main menu. Hope this helps.

That sounds good - will collect more vouchers and check it out before the offer runs out. It's great that deals like this are happening over here now....I find eating out in Belfast to be quite expensive generally and sometimes the standard of food just isn't worth it.

The vouchers are in the Telegraph until the 5th Feb, which is also the date the offer ends.

We used one in Dante's last week and were very impressed. Food was really fresh tasting and service was good too. We had a limited menu to choose from, but as its an Italian we expected pasta and pizza, which is what we got. Would definatly go again.

Oooooh! I love the Mourne Seafood Bar! I didn't realise the offer applied to them, will have to go out and buy the Tele now.

Very limited hours though - Mon to Thurs, 5-7pm.

I think it's fair enough for the restaurants to fill tables up on the cheap when they would normally be quieter...5 - 7 actually fits the post work slot really well. Probably means that you hit the pub a bit earlier than advisable but hey ho!
