Beverley drops I.S.A. rate

Down by 0.2% to 4.85% w.e.f. 1st of Feb.
I recall that a few folks on here were discussing the pros and cons of Beverley not so long back.
They have either acquired enough funds now or are waiting in anticipation of the next rate cut.

Yes, I was miffed to receive the rate cut letter from Beverley yesterday, having transferred my ISA to them from First Direct only three months ago. I can't see how the cut will work in their favour - surely the best providers will be seeking to court consumer favour by offering better rates in the run-up to the end of the financial year? There are rumours of another quarter point cut in interest rates soon but that's by no means a certainty. I doubt if I'll be keeping my ISA with Beverley for much longer.
