I have found myself recently clicking on post in order to offer advice, only to find they have already been solved! So I'm gonna bump this in order to encourage this simple solution.0

I've searched for the Thumbs up icon from the drop down list but I can't find anything like your picture,no drop down list, I've been helped so much over the last couple of days that I would like to put a thumbs up0

I don't think it is possible with the new forum software.
Changing the post icon of the first post doesn't change the thread's post icon.
The thread icon can only be changed by the Board Guide

hiya, ive been going thru this thread with great interest. alls well for thumbs up when a problem has been resolved.
however,
what if problem has not been resolved???????????
i have been postin for about 2 weeks now , giving various titles and info about my problem, but as yet it has not unfortunately been resolved.
i have had some replies to some of my posts, but having followed the advice posted, the problem still remains.
PROBLEM:-
i am unable to logon to sites, eg. microsoft internet exp., hotmail, ebay, online banking, making purchases etc.
i changed my anti virus from avg to avast, everything ok for about 3 days after this.
i also deleted aol, (my previous isp), now each time i turn comp. on i get window saying, unable to locate aol companion xml file, please reinstall aol.
i think my problem may have started after i deleted this. can i install aol without signing on to it? as this may solve the problem.
i have tried system restore and gone thru all help topics but problem has not been solved.
i have read thru alot of threads to try and resolve this matter.
i have windows xp
any help would be appreciated
thank you

If you can access msn site through Internet Explorer then it sounds like the browser itself is working. Have you got cookies enabled? You will need them enabled to sign into hotmail and other sites that need to remember your visit.rabialiones wrote:PROBLEM:-
