I may be missing something, and have no opinion on the sites in question as they all perform a useful comparison service, but what is the difference between all the sites which keep getting removed and Reestit Mutton's site which all appear to do something very similar, as they rely on commissions? (apart from Reesit's site apparently has permission to be posted on here, which happens quite frequently as it is a good site, and the others don't). I am not for one minute suggesting RM should be banned as well, only that if the purpose is moneysaving, then these sites perform a useful service?

Is it a useful service to spam the place for months, then sign up several new users to continue the campaign after being banned?

Is it a useful service to MSE members to boast on other forum sites about making over £1000 a month from those referrals ?

Sorry but I was not aware of the history as I have not been on this section of MSE until fairly recently when my mobile came up for renewal. The services are useful where comparisons are made/total cost of contract is identified - as they all seem to use different retailers personally I have been checking them all to see where the deals are on. I would then head over to quidco or wherever to get cashback on the deal (sites which again rely on affiliate commissions but happen to choose to share some of the commission with us), but others may not be as aware of this.
