i don`t see what all the fuss is about, surely all these people that brought one, wanted a wii fit anyway, not just because they thought they could get it £30 cheaper

Some people dont think they are worth £70 or cant afford £70 so therefore a lot of people would've ordered for the precise reason that it was £30 cheaper, the item was then more appealing at that price. Same as a vast majority of stuff on this board. Its no so appealing at full price but knock a few quid off and it can be a different story. Theres an awful lot of things id like to buy but aint prepared to pay the RRP for, thats the same with everybody including yourself.

this is true, but the going rate normally is £70, but you can hardly get them at that price at the moment, so the next best is around £100, so if you look at that way even if they do end up paying the full £70 it is still like a £30 saving on current prices, but i do see where you are coming from, if i had not paid £69 just before xmas, i would have used this code hoping to get it for around £40, i wa not being funny in my post just wondering why the fuss, cause they would still be getting the thing at normal price rather than the inflated prices that most companys sell them at, i find it funny how all these companys that supposidly sell it for £69 never or hardly ever have stock in, but the same companys seem to have plenty of stock that come with games that inflates the price to over £100:rolleyes:, Dave

Watch out using the £30 discount code - I got this from littlewoods:

    Dear *******,

Unfortunately, it would only possible for you to use a discount code if we had sent it to you directly.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused.
    Kind Regards

It is Empire Direct that has gone into admin. Empire Stores are the branch owned by Littlewoods, who also own Marshall Ward.

Would not be surprised if it had a knock on effect and they all started going into administration.

Got my first new account statement today, it says the code was accepted and my latest balance is £30 in credit - I presume that's because they won't debit the cost of the Wii Fit until it is despatched. Wish they'd get a move on!
