The Compers Inn - Part 12

Morning all,

A bit late this morning, well we both got up to go to work,
Apparently the worsr snow in Essex for 7 yrs!
Well made it to work, 30 min journey took 60 mins, but dont care got here safe and sound.
A lot of pratts on the road, some had only cleared front winderscreens!!
Not many people actually turned up for work, but have told boss I am not driving home in dark, as some of the road I go on are quite bad and not street lights.
I am now going to put myself on the naughty step with purple.
My mum is suppose to be travelling to america from gatwick to join my dad, at the moment still at my sisters house in Horsham, as Virgin have cancelled her flight, hope she does get to fly, has not seen my dad for a month.

Rang home to check on DD she is ok, going round nans later - her school was already shut - teacher training day.

Off to ring nan to make sure she is ok

Day I got married it was -13 KT maybe should have told me something :rotfl:;)

keeps coming on and off here though not doing to much to shut schools thankfully

I love the snow!!! People here are getting a bit panicky about getting home already! We've got no idea what it'll be like later yet!

Apparantly it is national sickie day - more people bunk off work than usually -

mmmm think that will be happening today. Some of the 'men' who work with me havent even tried to come to work!! That makes me mad, I would have loved to stay at home with my dd and dogs today,

apparently the dogs love it, Beth is gonna try to get photos!

Morning! hope all is well,I am fine.off to Exeter in a bit to see friends,no Karioke today though until next week.Got heating on as I was cold when I got up,Didnt sleep well because I was so cold and I huddled under duvet to keep warm.

Love the snow pics, snow coming down heavily again here. The girls are at school, they were not happy that the school's was not closed.

Morning peeps,

well that was fun!! I had a 40 minute walk with a 5yr old to school and back and now it's bucketing down again so I've got a feeling they'll be phoning me soon to fetch him home - so I get to do it all over again!!

Oh joy!!

It does look beautiful outside though!
