but if u went through what i did growing up in the 70's u would understand, also my son has to hear smart jokes constantly that hint at his race, though 99% they get it wrong

Sorry, I was entering loads of comps. You didn't offend me. By the way, I'm mixed race myself (although I'm white) and still get racial abuse because of my family heritage. I understand you and I didn't mean to offend with the comment. *hugs*

*sigh* January comes and (nearly) goes and all I've won is a lush soap.. hohum! I guess it wasn't meant to be my month, eh?
back to work today after 3 days off (I never work around my birthday) and already I'm wanting to be at home.. ugh. Housemate moves out on Saturday and nearly got upset last night as we went out for a last meal (VERY nice food!) and I gave her her leaving present.. hmmm..

very true, and we'll visit each other fairly often (we'll be about 150 miles apart I think, which isn't *too* bad) but it'll be weird for both of us as we've lived together since 2001...! :eek:

Its a horrible grey morning here, and it was really foggy last night. It was nice yesterday so I thought it was starting to brighten up but hopes dashed.
