    it's hidden in the back , looks like a small grey rubber block , pull at the edge and it comes out ;)

    The button is on the left of the top edge, directly above the hole where the "pen" goes.
    Needs a press of around half a second to put into sleep mode (Light goes from green to orange) and a longer press to switch off.

    Does the Navigo have visual speed indication?.
    My old classic`s speedo is very unreliable.TY.

    Yes it does - and there's even a software hack (https://www.thepctailor.com) where the whole screen can be used as a digital speedo (instead of a satnav). Never seen the point myself, but it sounds perfect for you !
    Register with the above website (it's free) then go to downloads section and get the file Navigo V2 Menu System. If you can use winzip, you can install this hack OK.
