AOL - Moving Home Nightmare
EsquireJ
We are moving home in the next 3-4 weeks and it seems the whole process of moving with AOL is a complete nightmare. I have contacted them and they said i will be without a connection for 20 DAYS! I need my internet connection for my job and 20 days without it is just not acceptable. I haven't yet told them to do it as we don't have an exact date for the move.
Why can' they keep my current connection going at my current address while they sort out my new one? Ideally i want the connection at my current address to stop the day i move and for it to start working at my new address the day i move in.
I can't cancel the contract with them as i signed up to a 24month contract (paying £29.99 a month for that!!!) only a year ago (DOH) although when i check my account settings it says my contract expires 'never' which can't be right....
Anyone any ideas? their help line is in India and completely useless.
