Right, EON has been out.. They're coming out tomorrow to replace the immersion heater. In the meantime they've left it as is so that we still have hot water and heating what with the kids and everything. And yea as I rent from the housing association all the repairs are paid for by them. Thank god else I'd be screwed!! Immersion heater... new ceiling.. plastering.... labour...
Hi Sar, have you seen the film Confesions of a Plumber' :D Every cloud and all that. At least you dont have to fork out for it eh

I didnt realise how many people on here work in Account/Finance!

I know - it's quite scary to think all us people responsible for looking after the finances of companies, are really quite mad :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

  • A mixture of finance and being terrified of getting in a car  When I took my final test I said to my instructor that day if I dont pass I am done with driving. As if by a miricle I passed (with 2 minors) but I am still done with driving :rotfl:For now at least ;)

I can understand that. I passed my test about 6 weeks ago, and although I have a lovely car, I rarely use it. I get really nervous driving, but then I am a nervous person in general.

I made sure that on the day I passed my test, I got in the car (with the dogs for support lol) and went for a drive. Admitedly is was like a 5 min drive, but I did it :rotfl:

I'm not sure why I wanted to learn to drive so much, I think it's just 'being able to' and it was a personal challenge. I've not achieved many things in my life.

My partner keeps bringing up the fact I don't go out driving much, but I really don't enjoy driving. I will do it out of necessity, and I like the fact I can, but I still hate it lol.

Lenny............that text you sent this morning about your brakes on your car? It made my phone go weird - it tried to download it as if it were a picture or something, kept crashing and then all morning kept saying 'inactive sim' and I couldn't send texts or receive any!
Sorry, BB I would suspect that as it was a very long text it was proably sent as a MMS Message (Media). Is your phone working now? Ever wish you had never given someone your number :D
