Thanks Luc - not working at the moment, contract ended on 31st December, but in both the roles I had over the last 5 1/2 years I 've always been involved in pulling together all the "tax" type paperwork / information for the tax consultants, which I know isn't the same as actually "doing" the job.
In AAT I opted for both business & personal tax papers (& really enjoyed them - need to get out more I know :rotfl: ), in ACCA I got the highest marks in the tax paper, compared to all my other papers.
I've been thinking for a while of stopping ACCA & taking ATT, with a view to going on to doing CTA if I could get through ATT.
Just need to make a decision & get on with it :o

Thank goodness you're not showing interest in indirect taxes - I would have to sever all connections:rotfl:

I would check and see if having AAT means you can do CTA without doing ATT first. Will cut costs massively and you'll be covering the same materials too. CIOT have changed the format of the exams from May 2009 forwards so you don't have to sit all CTA papers in one sitting any more which should make it more manageable. The website has a pdf of the eligibility requirements and the course content and is definitely worth a look.

I gave him money when he moved out as he had nothing, I bought stuff off him to help him too and then there was £3,000 left of our orig debt that we had got down from around 15K.

He owes me £1700, but does not have a job yet so he can't pay it yet.

I have the house and 3 kids (he has signed the house over to my sole name, which cost me £400, but worth it to know he can't touch it)

I had to pay for the divorce (same reason too)

Afternoon. Finally caught up and lunch is in the oven etc etc......

Snaggles - shame I missed your photo, I can guess though what it looked like ;) :rotfl:

Love the red dress. Just looking through the rest of them, must be me, but most of them seem to look like baby doll nighties or what I would call a knee length slip!!

OH has gone off now up to Gloucestershire so on my own tonight. Got a bit of admin. to do for my teaching, then may spend the evening AQA'ing.

Met up with my 2 old work colleagues, didn't have lunch as they'd had to go for lunch early, so it was a quick catch up after paying in the donation I had. Didn't see Cruella, although my heart was in my mouth as I went in through the main doors of the place.

Lenny............that text you sent this morning about your brakes on your car? It made my phone go weird - it tried to download it as if it were a picture or something, kept crashing and then all morning kept saying 'inactive sim' and I couldn't send texts or receive any!
