had my scan and everything's fine; she's tracking nicely along the 45/50th centile so still a normal sized baby (not the elephant I'm dreading).

And yes, it is SPD so I'm being referred for obstetric physiotherapy!

And I've done something so cheeky but so MSE it's unbelievable!!!!! I'm having a 3D scan in a couple of weeks... for nothing.

Squizzer, I think you can add a bank account to paypal - you need to verify your details though...

On the other hand you could paypal the money to me and I will pay on my debit card for you...I don't mind...

PM me if you want to.

Thanks Sammy - I think I'm going to have a look round the shops first, see if I can pick up anything there, at least can try things on then!

Question for Luc - Sorry to back to earlier in the thread & to ask considering your current job news yeasterday.
Might sound daft but is tax easy to get into ? I've been doing "normal" accounts work past 20 yrs, qualified AAT / part-qual ACCA but have always fancied moving into tax - any pointers ?
Any suggestions would be great :D

There'd be some learning to do as its all legislation based but its not difficult to get into.

Does where you work do tax for clients? If so ask to be involved somehow and see what you think.

If you like it there are certainly jobs out there and there is an Association of Tax Technicians (ATT) qualification you can do which will give a good technical base, roughly on a par with AAT. Profession generally one of 3 specialisms - corporation tax, personal tax or indirect tax - although smaller firms or in-house departments may use generalists.

There is a further qualification you can do (might even be able to do this without doing ATT first as you've got AAT but I'm not sure) the chartered tax advisor (CTA) but it is hugely challenging in terms of time commitment and volume of material to get through. (I'm expecting my 'why did you even bother turning up you moron' letter through next week just to add the mouldy frosting to my stale cake:p ).

Alternatively you could look to see if HMRC are recruiting...
