My tariff is excelled, so will definatley be renewing it, just wondering if i wo;; get an upgrade phone ?? There wasnt anything said about this when i signed up and i stupidly didnt even think about it at the time.

You are allowed an upgrade after a year, if you call to renew or re-negotiate your contract - just ask. Check out their website to see what's available. If they want to charge you part of the price for a new phone, haggle!
If you don't get the deal you want be prepared to threaten to leave - they may suddenly offer you a "loyalty discount". Alternatively, hang up and call again later and a different person might offer you a better deal.
"Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.
  • i would phone and say you want to cancel because you have phoned a better deal thatn you are currently on, find something before doing that (phone and decent tariff) they will probably match or better the deal.

  • I don't know what contract you're on but my son renegotiated his contract last night. He was on 100 x network anytime minutes and 500 texts for £20 month. he was offered the same contract for £10 per month with a free upgrade. The phones he was offered weren't great so he ended up being offered 10 free months instead of the upgrade.

He has in effect got 100 x Net Minutes & 500 txts every month for an anual cost of £20:j (He didn't even have to threaten to leave!!!!)

Think you might find this is not for Online customers.
