just wanted to say THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH to everyone who has posted in here!!! im so glad im not the only one this has happend too, but also angry that it has, but hey at least we are not alone!!! i think the main problem seams to be psychatrists dont want to listen to us becasue we are mentaly ill the prob think we diont know what is going on. my experience is they are very patronising and speak down to me, i wont let them anymore, and they don t like that one bit i think we need 2 stand up and show them we are not stupid we are different and need help!!!DON'T JUDGE ME, YOU DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT TO. YOU DONT KNOW WHAT I'VE BEEN THROUGH, YOU DONT KNOW WHAT I'VE FELT, OR WHAT I FEEL RIGHT NOW! SO FIND SOMETHING BETTER TO DO WITH YOUR TIME, THAN JUDGE SOMEONE YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT!!!0

I'm posting this link for an online DIY CBT course. Hope some people might find it helpful whilst they're on the waiting list for CBT.

Angelvoice, I agree and so does my welfare rights officer, psychiatrists don't always know what they're talking about and often don't see what's right there in front of them. How many times have we said to them 'oh I'm fine' and they just believe it and take it at face value because it makes their jobs easier than actually making sure we're ok? I know I do it a lot, even (especially) when I'm feeling suicidal. It's one of the reasons I've started taking someone with me to appointments, so they can tell the doctor what's really going on.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0
