Nat West a Disgrace - Updated with Outcome
Comments

I've had three problems caused by Natwest branches, but I feel that to defend the CRU they have always been very efficient and courteous, and ring back when they say they will. All problems have been resolved, with the delays normally caused by the branches, with the CRU staff sounding increasingly exasperated by the lack of responses from the branch!
AFAIK they're one of the few banks that provide a freephone number to make a complaint on0 -
Just to update this thread......
Today, two days after the end of the 14 day extension I agreed to the normal eight week period, I finally received a letter from Nat West CRU.
This does contain a full apology and a cheque for £100 by way of compensation.
I am intending to accept this and not take the matter any further. Had they replied promptly and without me having to chase, I would have been happy with the apology alone.0 -
Thanks for the update, a fair result I would say.0
