Okay got myself in a tizzy there but just found on their website this information:
No, unlike some high street banks and credit card companies who charge for missed payments or overdraft facilities. Provident Personal Credit prides itself on being transparent and having no extra charges.
Transparent my !!!!!!
Also found this:
Data Protection Compliance Officer
If you want to know what data we hold about you, or to have access to that data, or amend it on accordance with the "Act", please contact the DPA Officer at the above address.
So if i send them a letter like the one a couple of posts back i should get all information held on me and my account and hopefully get to see a copy of the Credit Agreement to check it for mistakes, but if not better still am i correct in saying this, that if they cant locate my credit agreements then i dont need to pay.
Gawd this is so confusing my brain is all of a caffuffle.
Guess you found the information, and although you don't get charged for late payments etc you do get charged the 180%+ interest fee  how they can get away with it I have no idea.DEBTS ARE BEING DEALT WITH AS BEST WE CAN

I would just like to add that I find it really strange they didn't contact you earlier if there have been no payments for 6 months. Does this seem odd to anyone else? Maybe your mother had been paying them and has only just stopped? But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

Okay everything has been going well I think! Today I have discovered that I pay PPi on my Argos card which Ive had for approximately 3 and a half years, i think I pay about £5 a month to it, so approximately £210 sitting in there if i can get it back and for them to take it off my balance which is sitting at £430.00.Do you think this is possible to claim back??
Has anyone had dealings with Aol on getting there MAC code from them on Friday I was told it would take up to 5 days to get from Bt which I find rather strange but never mind if thats how its done well nothing i can do about it.
On another note the letters to Littlewoods and Provident for my Credit Agreements are away sent on Saturday, I know i have to wait 12 days but is this 12 working days so I know when to start any further proceedings against them.
Children well not happy at packed lunches but whey hey nothing I can do about that at the minute need to free up cash somewhere.
If anyone can help with above questions I much appreciate it and thanks in advance

Okay will start on that as soon as my next statement comes in which will be in the next few days.
Another thing I have been looking into is my charges for my Littlewoods account from statements I can see on line going back to 9/2/08 I have been charged £122.00 I know there will be more from before that date as Ive messed that hundreds of times, how easy is it to get that money back from Littlewoods direct and applied to my account to hopefully clear it off I owe them £313.00 exactly.Became Debt Free 2009

Sorry to be a pain but does anyone no how difficult Littlewoods can be about reclaiming charges, just that I know that if they hadnt charged me it would have been paid off about a year ago.Became Debt Free 2009

Never done it myself as I don't use catalogues, but I know some people on here has done it relatively painlessly. Try and get copies of all your statements before you start (you may have to request these from them if you can't find yours, you don't have to give them a reason at all though), and go for all the charges you can find within the last six years!lostnfound wrote: »Sorry to be a pain but does anyone no how difficult Littlewoods can be about reclaiming charges, just that I know that if they hadnt charged me it would have been paid off about a year ago.

hi there, just wanted to say first how well you seem to be tackling all this. I have had charges reclaimed from littlewoods before and all it took was a phone call, although I think it was only 3 months of charges they had put on the account so might be different of its more but may be worth a phone call to see, if nothing else they can give you the address of where to send your letters for reclaiming, hope this helps17/01/09- Debt: Natwest £1896 Cap 1 £394 Barclaycard £565 Provident £200 total £3055:eek:0

Someone has just been at the door, the only person not getting paid is Provident. Thing is they chapped back door first then when i didnt answer the went to front door and rattled it not once but twice. I looked through spy hole and i could see a woman with a clipboard type thing i didnt recognise her, she was writing something down on it after doing that she rattled the door again. After 10mins she left but no note through door, gonna have to write that letter quick smart and send it today ive got an hr before post office closes for the day. Damn them this is all i need right now, i know i owe it but want to look at me Credit Agreement first before i pay them anything also i would like to be able give them a full an final when i am ready to give them it .Became Debt Free 2009
