I think the ones we've looked at in Goldsmiths are 150 for mine and 200 for his, 18ct gold. We're going to use Tesco vouchers for this!
  • getting silver or white gold from argos, under £100 for both rings.

Not much help to you but comparisons might be interesting! 1st June 1982: Terry's the Jewellers in Slough £29 and £15 for 9ct gold plain bands. All we could afford at the time buy still happily married 26 years later.
  • We paid around £150 each.

However, one of the rings I was considering was £25!

But hey, no one would ever know!!

Some jewellers have lead times, so go shop shop shopping!
H Samuels is only 8 days though!

We ordered one from John Greed, as we both like titanium.
Mine- well I have just ordered it from an Aussie website, women in the UK dont seem to like titanium, and the ring choice is very poor!
  • Mine cost £425 and OH isn't having one.

  • About £20 on each (we had a budget wedding), we got 9ct from Argos as it was the marrying that was the most important to us - good job really as Hubby never wears his, (he's a gardener and it might catch on machinery - well, that's his excuse anyway.)

Hopefully we should find out tomorrow. We're going to Hatton Garden as I have 4 "departed" relatives' wedding bands and hoping to have them melted down to make 2 rings for me and H2B. I'm hoping that it won't cost anymore than £500 for both as this is what I have budgeted
