My OR interview today

The report that they type up, is that what the creditors get, if so what does it normally say and will I get a copy.
If I was going to get an IPA would he have said. The subject was never mentioned. He just said that there is very little left, did not ask me to cut anything, just said the mortgage was high but did not ask me to rent, suppose it is because no equity.
Said that the life assurance is an asset and will probably ask us for £50 for his interest in it or we can cancel and start another of which he will have no interest. But it would be a lot more a month so I do not want to increase the outgoings.
Do not know how to feel, I wish i had sort help before as now I am dreading if he goes for a BRO explaining in a letter why I did what I did and why I accepted the loan. Its not having the order that bothers me as I do not want credit but I am dreading having to go to court and trying to relay why I did what I did, I never once said I know, I will rack up a load of debt and not pay it back. I was just in too deep and did not know how to get out. Do not know when I felt worse, was it when I was juggling creditors or now feeling like I am a criminal.
Its going to be a long year.0 -
Thanks SA
That made me smile. Whenever I hear that now I will think of you.
I wanted to post that all went well and nobody worry about there interview. But it was not what I expected. I hope I havent worried anyone.0 -
NIDA you don't go to court if you get a BRU\BRO so don't worry on that score.Hindsight is a wonderful thing;) . You did what you did and there is nothing you can do about that now. Many of us on here have tried to consolidate when things have got really bad without realising the implications should that not get us out of the mire. You can not blame yourself for trying all avenues before going bc.dxFree impartial debt advice available from: National Debtline - Tel: 0808 808 4000 | The Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) - Tel: 0800 138 1111 | Find your local Citizens Advice Bureau

I actually think that perhaps it is not as bad as you feel it is at the moment.
Like dalip says, it is one of those horrid experiences that are always worse fresh if you get my drift. The feeling will pass I am sure.
Try not to feel too bad ......

Hi NIDA,
Please don't worry, as D said you don't go to court for a BRU, it's only if you object and won't accept it that you have to go to court for a judge to decide, that's what turns it into a BRO.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
How many more hurdles might I have, I have never been this athletic in my life before. Was todays the biggest one. My mind is all jumbled from the interview.I thought the br day was hard, today was harder.0

IMO the court goes so smoothly, even easily that i think it lulls us into a false sense of security Then wham all those questions, interrogation ect brings it all home to us. I persoanally dreaded and found the whole OR experience awful. I had the nicest OR but it was me that found it hard to deal with. Have a few beers tonight and tomorrow is a whole new day.DxFree impartial debt advice available from: National Debtline - Tel: 0808 808 4000 | The Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) - Tel: 0800 138 1111 | Find your local Citizens Advice Bureau

Is it the examiner that makes the decisions on me, its just that when he rang me he said my original OR had been moved elsewhere and I now will have a new case clerk. Even though the examiner said he would put my file away for a few weeks and then go back and read it before he makes a decision as to wether he applies for a BRO, is it the person I spoke to today who will be making all decisions on my outcome.0
-
The examiner usually reports to the OR its then up to them with evidence provided from the OR's assistant what to do...as far as i'm aware an examiner cant impose BRO/BRU etc this has to come from the OR's reccomendationsWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0

I agree dalip, I was beginning to feel happy, now I am miserable. What happened after your interview did you have a quiet spell again.0
