Its sometime cheaper to have 0800 to your landline and divert it to your mobile.I come back later on and post the info when i have dug it out.PF.0

USE A COMPANY THAT CHARGES ME AS FOLLOWS:
no charge to set up 0800
no rentals or minimums at all..
all calls to that 0800 are 5p+ to any landline
if diverting to mobile: 5p (+ rates below i.e. to voda at weekend = 7.99p+)
Mobile O2 peak:10.99; eve:9.99; w'end:5.99
Mobile T-Mobile 14.75; 6.99; 6.99
Mobile Orange 12.75; 8.75; 7.25
Mobile Vodafone 14.75; 5.99; 2.990 -

Dug out Info for you now heres site i was thinking of.

Note you can pick a decent number, and they only charge 3.5p a minute for the call itself.
The other way you can do it is to terminate 0800 number on your landline.Get call divert.Nominate your mobile number as your best friend on Bt for max discount. That will give you more flexibility.PF.0 -

It says here that they charge 5p Ex VAT:
http://www.resource-utilities.com/0800_rates.aspx
Then it goes on to say that if you want to divert to a mobile that the cost will be 3.5p+ 9.1p, but no mention of VAT here:
