Automatic Reply/Out of Office...

Options
Hi,

I'm thinking of changing my ISP. I'm currently with BT and use there free email account alot (which I'm going to use!).

I wondered if there was any kind of way that anyone that emails me between now and when I change it, I could send out automatically (like an out of office (but can't find that facility on my Outlook Options or Tools)).

Is there any software I can dl or any other clever ideas?

Thx

Sara

I dont think you can do that apart from an Autoresponder in plesk admin tools
for a privately owned website.. but you can email everyone your new addess.

You can Open the address book in Outlook Express on the old PC and choose file export, Address Book then email that to the new address then import that from Outlook Express, File Import Adress book.. or save it to a floppy or any kind of media and Import it then.

Sara, Outlook (not sure about outlook express) has a rules wizard that might help you do what you need.
However, you said you are planning to keep your BT email address ? If so,can you access that via webmail, by visiting their website, instead of using outlook ? I can do that with my ntlworld email.
Karma is a wonderful thing. ;)

If you have a @btinternet.com or a @btyahoo.com email address, why are you bothering? You can access all your emails from the BT website aswell as through Outlook or Outlook Express. And when you are up and running with your new ISP you can still carry on using your BT email because all BT email addresses are basically web based.
