then i see people whining that they have had a dry spell then notice their sig and see things like
"October wins: Holiday to LA, £250 vouchers, dvd boxset. November Wins: xbox and games, blu ray movies, case of wine"
etc etc
..............
boo hoo.
maybe u need to re think how u r comping, laws of averages should have given u at least something, or maybe its ur too wrapped in what others are doing, this place is like a family u shouldnt be jealous, so what if people whine, they put the time and effort in so they have every right to whine when they have a dry spell xxx#JusticeForGrenfell0 -
Wow, some good prizes there!
Well I must have entered over 100 yesterday, I doubt I'll be able to keep that up as I did pretty much nothing else, but still I iwll try to keep this up as long as I can, and will let you guys know if I win anything...
I have entered mostly for stuff I want or if I think someone else would want it. Have entered a few on behalf of my Dad!
If u read Velvet gloves guide u will find tips to streamline ur comping, little things like using roboform, with snaplinks would get 100 comps done in 90 mins max xxx
theres so many tips its def worth a read , if u do have a dry spell, maybe look at how u r comping and make tweaks here and there xxx#JusticeForGrenfell0 -

You get lucky spells
and you get dry spells
I don't win anywhere near as much as some people on here, despite entering a lot of comps but it is the fun and anticipation of waiting for that wem or lwe to arrive
Our Granddaughter, Caitlin Freya is now 7 years old, growing up to be a lovely young lady and our Grandson, Findlay Ewan is 3 years old and still a lovable bundle of mischief
one of each, how perfect

I started comping at the beginning of november, and so far i've won two lots of cadbury choccies, PoP art poster and 4 xbox360 games(not recieved yet), so i've had a few wins, nothing large yet, but still i hold out hope.
I enter as many comps per day that are pertinent to what i'd like, i.e. i only enter for items that are of use to me, or are really expensive, hehe.July Wins - Stargate Universe DVD Set0 -
I started comping at the beginning of December. I used to just do a few over my lunch at work, but now I try and to the dailies over lunch and the rest on the main board when I get home. It takes me a couple of hours, by which time I'm being prodded for the laptop!
I too only enter comps I actually want. I probably do anywhere from 50 to 150 a day I would think... never actually counted to be honest.
Have had a couple of wins, so can't be bad!2019 Wins: personalised bottle of gin, gin hamper, bag, solar lights, smellies, two teddies, book bundle, meal for two, teapot, unicorn dream catcher, box of ale, tickets to Newton Faulkner, family swim pass
Total wins for 2009: £883.22
Total wins for 2010: £2249.500 -
I have been comping since June last year and my first win was only in December however I only enter competitions for things that me or my family need and I dont enter for books, cds etc.
My first win was a 4 night break at Pontins which we are taking during Easter holidays and would have cost us 350 pounds if we had to pay for it.
I won a glitter eyeliner at the end of December then today I have won a 500 pound voucher for Mina UK through the Daily Mail.
I enter more comps since downloading Roboform and that allows me to enter for more Beauty Products which is my main addiction.
Good Luck0 -
i find i have good month and bad months some months i might just win 1 other months 3 or 4 i think t depends how many yo do .
in december i think i had good month i won proberly 7 lil to medium wins.
this month ive won 14 prizes already so one a day there if i dont win anymore this month ide be happy it really does take time.
ive had some amazing wins even the lil ones and would like to thank compers for posting them.0 -
I enter around 1500 a month. Most valuable wins have been a diamond necklace worth £1000 and £980 from Dickinson's Real Deal. Most useful prize was my laptop (enabling me to enter more comps).
I'll enter anything I can use, give away or sell. I sell prizes to pay for our family holiday which we wouldn't otherwise be able to afford. I don't enter for foreign holidays because we don't have passports and couldn't afford to get them if I won!
Sometimes I win lots, other times I only get around 7 or 8 wins in a month. The thrill of winning never wears off and each package is as exciting as the one before.
Good luck everyone

Started mid-December 08. Won 6 prizes to date. Biggest wins £150 of Waitrose vouchers/£100 worth of party tickets. I'm limited on amount of time spent on the computer so have been pleasantly surprised at how well things have worked out. Needless to say wouldn't have done so well without the relentless help from the comp posters. Just need to get a few of mine in before they beat me to it. Thanks all.0
