How often (or not!) have you won prizes?

Just wondering those who have won, how many comps do you enter and how much have you won?

And how many regulars have never won anything?

I know there is no science to this, and someone who enters everything could win nothing, whilst someone who enters only one could win, but still interested to see!

I have quite a lot of spare time at the moment (made redundant a couple of months ago) so figured entering competitions could be worthwhile!

I was made redundant last July and started comping just before then. I am quite addicted now and its a bit like fishing you are always waiting and hoping the next ones going to be a big one. You can see from my signature what Ive won - think it totals about £300 last year so am still keeping my eye out for a job but has been quite helpful even so.

It is mainly luck but the more you enter then the luckier you will (hopefully) be.

I don't usually enter comps for tickets as I'm always too far away to travel and I tend not to enter comps for baby stuff as there aren't any little tiddlers in the family just now.

As an average, I usually win one thing per week, sometimes more. The big wins don't happen very often though.

Well good to hear you both win! How many comps do you enter per day or week?

I definately don't expect to win anything big, so would be happy with something small!

Most days I spend around 2 hours entering comps from this site (1 lunch hour and 1 hour while the husband cooks dinner!)

I'd say on average I win maybe twice or three times a month. most of it is little things like lipsticks, face creams - i had a good run a few months back where I won about 5 tshirts from the same competition - I was obviously the only one entering despite it being posted on here!

this year so far I have won 6 bottles of champagne from lovefilm and a lipstick from loreal.

i think everyone always has their fingers crossed for a phone call from ITV though!

ive been comping since mid november and ive won quite a few small prizes.my biggest win so far was a wii fit and huge bundle of dvds/books/goodie bags from britfilms so nothing really huge but still loved winning each and every one. its brill fun and so exciting every time the postie knocks incase its a win.i do enter a lot of comps and i mean a LOT but dont enter tickets cos cant travel or baby comps same as shjo558 and i never enter things i dont want unless i know one of my family wants it.

I only enter the comps that are shown on MSE - I just enter all the new ones that are posted each day. Depending on how many that it, it can take a good few hours every day to keep up to date.

If I run out of time though, I just have a catch up session at the weekend.

Don't worry, use MSE compers aren't obsessed:o

i enter anything from 200 to 700 a day, wins average out to 15 a month, many months just little wins ( little i mean as under £20) a few months ive had some biggies, i won a family holiday( we go in august) and ipod touch, vouchers etc.

I see it as a numbers game , the more u enter the more chance ur name will eventually get picked somehwhere.

I dont obviously get 15 wins every month , its not every otherday either, some months ive not won for a week or so and suddenly they all start pouring in, i actually , won the holiday, ipod touch and debenhams vouchers all within 10 days, which still amazes me xxx
I only ever enter for stuff i want xxxx and I enjoy it!!! xxx

Mse has enough comps to keep u busy, i do tend to drift over 4 or 5 diff sites, but the majority of what ive won has come from mse xxx

Hiya,

I started comping from MSE in August and just won little things until Dec when i won about £400 worth of goodies.

I try to enter all the ones off here i like but i would love to have more time to find comps to post and do all the postal ones. Unfortunatly, jobs, courses and the pub gets in my way! Hehe
