I ordered a 32" Samsung on Friday 17th March & it came this morning 20th March. That was really quick. No problems, no hassle!

Is the 20% off deal still available for first timers?

    It is :T !
  • I placed an order for a 26" samsung last night, with the 20% discount. They contacted me today to say the order had been declined. I rang them up and said they couldn't tell me why it has been declined but hinted at the credit limit for first order being only £100. So now, they have made me order the catalogue, and have said I will then get set up with an account, and then have to place the order once I have an account number - making a payment of £380 - which will be the balance less the discount and the £100 I can have on credit.

    How silly.

The people who have had their teles delivered then, how have you got over this problem?

I paid in full so no trouble with credit limits. I know some people have ordered, been contacted about the credit limit but then been able to pay the balance there and then over the phone.
What did I do at work before I discovered MSE?!

NOW - not sure, due to boyfriend going back to uni for masters and now pgce. Worth it in the long run!

There are 3 options as you go through to complete your transaction,
"LOG-IN", "CREATE A PERSONAL ACCOUNT" & "PAY & GO" look in the "PAY & GO" box & click the "PAY BY CARD" icon, when you click this it asks for your credit card details & you can pay without going through the account refusal & credit limit problems. If your a new customer the discount code should automatically appear discounting your purchase, it should show the code "DREP" & the discounted price of your item. I hope this helps you.
  • I'll try that now! Thanks
  • Well I did it, so we will see. Considering all the other posts....it will be a miracle if it arrives....but it's worth a try!

Excellent, I thought this had expired since there's no mention of it on the homepage.
