I have this tv and it is great. However there is a slight issue with the freeview. Occasionally you get green flashes on ours and apparently is quite common. Problem seems to only happen while watching freeview doesnt seem to be a problem with other sources, dvd, external freeview. Samsung told me that it may happen due to missing the signal very slightly, however I am only 1 1/4 miles from the transmitter and have anew aerial and cable last Feb. Doesnt happen on any other tv in the house. I can live with it, but some may find it annoying, as I said it doesnt happen with other sources. Picture is great on external freeview, dvds, pc.
I have teh 26" model. Also it doesnt have an one/off switch, only standby.0 -

and there is a provisional date for an update to Sammy freeview decoders, which includes the LE-26R41BD, running from 30/1/06 till 4/2/06.
This may help with the green flash.
Borrowed from another forumAll Dell'd upseveral times over

I will post some pictures of the tv with freeview epg soon so you can compare.
Also tv has a analogue tuner, but who wants that, when freevie is far superiors picture.0 -

I'm surprised it doesn't work as I know of two others that have ordered using it without any problems....I note in the small print....
"The discount should be confirmed after you have made the order either in your email or viewable a few days after in your online account.
"
....therefore are you sure it doesn't work?0 -
That is the code I used.
When I got through to the checkout, there were some boxes at the bottom to place your codes. The first box had a code in it, so I deleted this and replaced it with the new one. Next I updated it and the price reduced to £450.00.
Email confirmed this.
Hope this helps!if i had known then what i know now0 -
poppycat - links don't work
When I put the code in last night it showed as £675 at the end but I bottled out. Went to have a look tonight and the code was invalid but I pressed order by mistake. Email confirmation states £899 so I called up Freemans and said it hadn't gone through.
She said it can take 2 days to show on their system and to call again on Thursday morning and they will add the code manually at their end and put the order through.
Not sure if to wait a couple of months though for Sky HD as the prices seem to be tumbling fast at the moment and the new Samsungs seem to look a bit nicer.0 -
Strange because I tried them and again now. Anyone else having problems with them0
