Bottom line is that they have been overwhelmed with orders and they now wish to stop it but without invalidating the code people are still ordering them and the only way to stop it is to say your CC has been declined!

I ordered mine Monday 17th at 11:30am, got delivered at 9:15am Wednesday 19th.

I ordered one yesterday but when I spoke to Freemans they still haven't registered the order, nothing has gone from my bank either (I paid with Debit Card). I'm concerned now that either the order won't go through or that I will have to wait 12 days delivery (they were in stock when I ordered). I got the email stating my order was being processed and that stock was available. I am just being an impatient bunny?

Freemans take a day or two to update their system so that's why they haven't registered your order yet.

Seems the last three or four people have had their orders cancelled, hope you get your tv!

Ordered Tuesday (showed £630, and went through quidco), and it was delivered this morning.

Not showing up on my CC statement yet

I had previously ordered a 26" at 25% off at the beginning of Feb (which was charged + delivered mid-March with just 20% off). I had a lot of problems with this order (read back through the thread if you're interested), and Trading Standads didn't want to know :

"Unfortunately, Trading Standards are unable to help you in the circumstances, as the matter you describe is one of a civil contractual nature. Trading Standards can only investigate allegations of criminal offences under the legislation it enforces.

If you're unhappy, there's no point contacting trading standards, contact these bodies which Freemans are a member of instead, as they are interested and will investigate :

Mail Order Traders Association (mark.hogarth@mota.org.uk)
Interactive media in retail group (ISIS@imrg.org)

That said, I never got a resolution, just replies from Freemans saying I had used an invalid code for the 25% off (despite being given this by a Freemans rep, as well as it being on their computers that a supervisor authorised that I was eligible for the 25% at the time of ordering), and that as a 'gesture' they had discounted 20%. Anyway I've got them for at least 30% on this 32", maybe 35% if Quidco goes through, so looks like we're even now.
