Is It Best to keep Broadband & Phone Seperate

Hi
If you have read my other threads i am getting the run around from my combined phone & b/band provider Pipex. I am currently paying for a b/band service i am not getting. This complaint is now with Otelo.
Hopefully i will soon be rid of these morons.
This brings me to my question. In future would it be best to have seperate providers for b/band & phone as the only reason i am still paying the Pipex b/band bill is that they will cut my phone off if i stop. This would not happen if the phone was with someone else.
Also if you have a combined phone & b/band package is it best to keep the line rental with BT.
Any advice thanks.

Personally, keep phone with BT, BB with whoever.
Gives flexibility of BB provider (also not tied in), against perhaps paying £1 or so more /month line rental.Move along, nothing to see.0 -
Agreed, I have always used BT for my phone, no problems, however I wouldn't use BT for Broadband.0
