I've had two, on my knee, and I can fully understand why someone might find it claustrophobic.
It is also very boring, apart from the bit where they tell you to be as still as possible, which of course makes you twitch and want to move!0 -
Ive now had three and actually find them very relaxing.
I snuggle into my blanket, close my eyes and listen to the banging sounds and make a tune of them in my head. I could also easily fall asleep inside them. I like the badger analogy - all this depite being claustrophobic on planes.
Good luck to anyone having them.I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0
