Does anyone work for the NHS on here? Do you know if they ever change their mind about a job offer? Only doubts are setting in as to whether I will get an offer letter/the job.

The Admin Manager I saw said that HR would contact me and that no start date could be given until the CRB check is back in - I know that will be ok, but just wondered if I will get an offer letter in the meantime?

Thanks everyone! Will keep you posted as to when I start but will go for other NHS jobs in the meantime in case they change their minds:eek:

I have now spent since hier and big yaps avec toi trying to post my F!licitations to you, fab mummo of a Felicity, not to mention an Adam for whom I have also the highest regard(as is increasingly necessary, given the shrinking nature of one now just turned 60 and the growingness of young he-man.)
As we said, but I wish to state for public view, you have been through much in this last 5 years.
You have come through that and are continuing to do so.
You are shining with relevant experience and wisdom - no wonder they seized upon you and felt you were at last 'back' in their team as one who had merely popped away for a while.
It is wonderful, wonderful news and - I think - a rather special new path developing for you.

Julia, it was a serendipitous 'catch sight' that led me to you on this World Heritage Site that Martin has developed and I look forward to our meeting next week to celebrate(a little late)a 1st birthday of that friendship, in person.

An additional blessing of the search for your job post is finding Olive Oyl, homealone and haleygrey and I have posted there, too.

Bless you all over again, mot - how lucky that NHS team will be to have you on board.

Remember, too, about Adam and Felicity doing a bit of cook/meal prep. now Mum's back at work.

p.s. my now being 60 adds verisimilitude to the OPV letters of my car. reg - yes, Old Person's Vehicle leapt unbidden into my head and won't go away, try as I may to replace it with Outrageously Princessy Valetudinarian etc.etc.

the NHS HR is not known for speed. It will be fine, they usually do not commit to a firm offer until the CRB check is done, but as you say you have no skeletons...
