Which brand of fish are you looking at? I can't have cows milk and usually batter includes that, but there was no mention in the ingrediants you just quoted? Would be good for me.

EstherH..its Birds eye 2 fish fillets in crunchy breadcrumbs--on this box,the batter ingredients are as posted,but there is whey powder in the breadcrumb,
There is another Birds eye 2 fish fillets in crispy batter,and this one has skimmed milk powder noted in the batter ingredients,
both boxes have an Allergy advice box stating..."contains,fish,wheat,milk,mustard"(im assuming milk is in reference to the whey powder in the first,cos theres no mention of milk in the ingredients

Kids not liking the food they are served is nothing new.

A favourite family story is of when my mother and her brothers were quite little, they complained about the food one supper time. The next evening, my grandfather instructed my grandmother to only cook a meal for the 2 adults while he went out and bought 'supper' for the children. You can imagine their surprise when they came to the table to be served plates of carefully arranged chocolates and sweets... Apparently they were soon begging for a proper meal, but weren't allowed any until they had cleared their plates! I assume it worked...
