Hmm. The second management starts talking about their business moving forward or "evolving" is the time to start scanning the jobs pages. One company I used to do a lot of work for is now doing very well indeed, but that's because they anticipated the downturn, cut back on European-based stuff (and staff) and reinvested in the Far east.0

i work for one of the big companies and they are talking about moving forward and the business growing (its a bank - judge for yourself! ) etc etc etc but I really believe that there are going to be some serious redundancies, they are just planning it all behind the scenes just now and planning their excuses so they are all prepared when the time comes to announce it to the world.
Haha Donna...that made me smile:D ....Banks love to do that don`t they !! Talk up the growth & then make loads of people redundant when no-ones watching!! Then they flower it up by saying `are streamlining their business!!! `
Like me you will have heard it all before.;)0 -
Yeah sadly when i hear banks talk about growth that normally means profit and if they cant do that by making money from us it will be from cutting staff................:cheesy: K2nga :cheesy:

might be the right time to start a honest bankruptcy advice line (warts and all) without trying to flog a DMP or IVA to the debt-ridden at a sensible price for my time.....lol0

I have been looking to see where else I could get work but no supermarkets are taking any staff on and no other shops either so no real surprise there! If push comes to shove, we can survive just about. will be selling things on ebay and might even try a car boot sale or two.
are you looking for workers max?
