I'm suddenly seeing the relationship for what it was and feel like a bit of an idiot really, but I'm not going to let this get me down. I realise now that he is very controlling, which was maybe what attracted me at first, I needed someone who was a bit protective and overwhelming after feeling like Stu was always so distant. But I'm not going to spend my life with someone who thinks it's okay to claim to be in a serious relationship with me, but wont tell anyone, and gives or withholds his affection as a way to punish or reward me.

I've got 2 great kids, and to be honest, it's a bit soon for me to be in another serious relationship anyway, so I'm just going to enjoy being single for a bit.

I've purged my phone, deleted his number so I wont text or ring next time I feel sad and deleted all his meaningless flirting from my Facebook (wish I could block him but it looks like he's actually removed himself from Facebook altogether, not just deleted me........still, if he comes grovelling back at some point, I can have the pleasure of deleting HIM).

I need to delete the emails I've saved too, but I'm not quite ready to do that yet for some reason. Maybe later, or tomorrow.

    I'm freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. :)

awwwww babes........ liking the new siggy though! :rotfl: :rotfl:

I did think about 'accidentally' letting a cafe nero one fall into my bag, but I'm too honest! Actually, I think they might sell them, they used to.

I'll post a message about a book club, if no one minds me organising it?

please do Ames! i'd love to!! scared to go into Arms one though! Thanks to ED for posting the linky though!

You are all very naughty pinching things from cafes and bars..

I have a nice little Spanish pottery jar from a tapas restaurant but they deserved that for having rubbish service.. :rotfl:

Poor OH had a tray full of glasses of red wine spilled onto him in a Tapas bar it was in his hair and everything, and it was his Birthday.

I think I should have taken one of the waiters home to recompense:D

Ermmm I think we should be careful as this thread seems to be slipping into the "whats the best thing you have ever nicked" thread:o

I love nicking the last chip of OH's plate, it drives him up the wall:rotfl:

Snaggles, I'm so sorry to hear all that.

If anyone does want a book group on here, I'm happy to organise it. I run a real life one so I'm used to it.

Well I went into town but forgot to take ID, so I couldn't open the account. I've got the form though so hopefully I can do it in the next couple of days. I also couldn't find a mug I need. My dad got me a coffee machine for my birthday but none of my cups fit it. I really want one of the short fat small cappuccino mugs but couldn't find any. So if anyone's got any ideas of where I can look that'd be great!

Ames, I have a Senseo machine which will only take short cups/mugs. Tesco is where I got mine. It's a dinky little mug with an oval saucer big enough for a couple of biccies or a small cake-think it was £1.50 ....
Beanie, Aahh, think I'm OK...huge phone call from DH when he was lashed, veered from crying (literally)about how much he loved me, to "I want a divorce"..talk about a mixed up boy.....
Edit say ..actually I think it was ASDA, not Tesco....
    Debt-free...and staying that way...
