Thank you so much for your help.. I have been sitting here wracking my brains for hours!

Im going to give Co-op a call now and try and open a new account.

Who will I have to give the the new account details to?

Firstly, your employer to get your salary paid into there. We have an online facility where I work to change it automatically but the Co-op have a form that you can fill in and send it to your employer - you might be pushed for time, you need to get a move on.......

Then you will have to put it on your BR forms as well as your old account.
The OR will ask you which account your salary is being paid into and they will tell the Co-op they have no interest in it and it will be available for you to use.

JH1985 - Bearing in mind you only have 10 days before your BR I am wondering if there is anyone who has an account that you can get your salary paid into for this month only? Or perhaps you could be paid by cheque this month?
By the time you get the Co-op open and activated I think it may be too late for your employer to change the details. It may be better to use another account (of someone you trust) just for this month and give your employer the details in the next day or two?

Ok so I have just got off the phone to the co-op blimey that was quick! A record 11 Minutes :-) She has advised that I should receive a welcome pack within 3-5 days.. Just need to find out how much notice I need to give the office, I'm quite sure they process everything late.. :-)

    ahh thanks guys!

I feel a little better, I'm soo glad that I checked on here first, otherwise I would of had a frozen account and been well and trully stuffed!

Still VERY sick but dont think that will disappear until this is over..

    So is what happens?

I go to the courts with forms and fees on the 22nd, I see a clerk that will check my forms and the judge will either accept or decline,

I will then get a call from the OR to go through my SOA properly and then thats when im BR?

I sould like a right div dont I.. Sorry

Yes, the judge will only decline if you are solvent or if you obviously haven't taken advice, or if there is a glaring problem.... and there won't be!
You may or may not see the judge - depends on the day as to whether they want to see you.

I will then get a call from the OR to go through my SOA properly and then thats when im BR? No, you are BR when the judge grants the order, the clerk will type it up and give it to you there and then usually. That is when you are officially BR. The OR administers the BR - sorts out your "estate" and pays the creditors.
I sould like a right div dont I.. Sorry

No, why should you know any different, it is the first time you have filed for BR.
