You just need the yellow button then. From memory, you press once and it tells you how many kwh and if you press again it tells you how many minutes. So, for example, I plugged in the washing machine and recorded how many kwh it used for 30deg, quick wash and hot wash. For the iron, I used it for half an hour and noted how many kwh for a half hour ironing session.0

Will try and sort it tomorrow, I wont need it for the iron though as I dont use it lol

I have a thread on here where i have been monitoring all my electrical usage... maybe search for that?

I have that meter... just plug it in and use the yellow button.
My fridge (big Smeg fridge/freezer) uses approx 1.1kw/day.0
