I've added a few competitions here before but I've tried to add one this morning but I can't - there is an error message telling me because I am a new user I can't add posts with links. Is there a way around this or is it a new rule?

As far as I know its a new rule to help prevent spammers!
You could either get someone to post it for you or post it yourself and just write out the address and someone else can make it into a link for you.

I think, but don't quote me, that you have to have a post count of 10 before you can post links.

Hi Compers, I`m more of a MOC man myself but I do pop in here from time to time.
I use GMX for my email. Its excellent as it has a very easy to set up facility to `hoover up` your emails from other addresses you have. It also has free online file storage.
Get to the point man.
Today there was a click link for lots of comps as I exited. Just a few bits of info were needed and I was entered into a number of comps. Beware - some of the comps asked for home phone, so if you entered those you might get cold callers. Happy Comping!

Hi, I'm new to the comps board and just have a quick question... when people on here are talking about winning cosmo competitions for example the ones with codes are they in the magazines or on the website because I cannot find them on the website - just their main competitions. Hope that makes sense? Thanks for any help in advance!

Has anyone entered the UKFamily Crazy Hair competition?
I have entered and the voting started today. I thought that I would be able to log on and vote for myself and then give some friends the link to vote for me also. However, you are shown only 2 photos at a time and have to vote for one in order to get to the next page. I have been informed by UKFamily that this is the fairest way to do it. Fair enough, but I have been clicking and voting for the past 30 minutes and, although I have yet to come across my entry, I have seen the same entries time and time again.
Any thoughts?

I've just emailed Lucy about exactly the same thing, been looking for my kids so I could vote and send the link to my family, and can I find them, noooo....
