Quick Question please:

If a comp states one entry per person, and after sending the email you remember that you forgot to add a detail e.g. age or income etc; would you resend or just leave it?

On the rare ocassion it's happened to me, I've simply left it and moved on to a new comp but just wondering if you could resend with all the details or if you'll then be disqualified for entering twice. Thanks.

Personally I would just leave it as they would more than likely see it as 2 seperate entries & disqualify you.. Pain when you forget something though isn't it!
Thanks to everyone that posts :T:money:

Not sure if this is the correct thread on which to query Roboform problems, sorry if it isn't.

Been comping for ages and finally came to my senses and started using the free trial of Roboform. My free trial must have come to an end now (I think) and everytime I use the toolbar to click to add log in details, a window opens where it states I need to buy Roboform as I have too many passcards (?), should have less than 10 or something for it to be free, I've got lots more than that However, when I click on "No" it fills in the details as before.

I really want to keep using it now, couldn't go back to typing in all those details each time but I'm not sure what to do. Do I need to buy it or is there some way of getting it free (like lots of other anti virus software and such like which is free). Also I'm not sure why it keeps working when I click "no"

Hope someone can help

To my mind, serious compers use Roboform Pro.
It's a one off payment which was equivalent of a few books of stamps.
Best investment I have ever made
I don't think you can use the "custom" fields on free version, which I find particularly useful.

Just a personal opinion

Thanks Paul, I was going to ask if it was an annual subscription or a one off payment.
I have so many "log ins" written in an address book so i think this would save time.
Am I correct in thinking that it will save unlimited passwords and unlimited identities?
Also as I use both a lappy and a PC is there anyway I can "save" the details on a USB key so that I can use either machine? Or is it for one PC use only?
Also what are the "custom fields" that you mention?
Thanks.
Sorry for all the questions. :o

• You'll need to buy 2 to be able to use on both lappy & PC, but you need to buy them at the same together to get a discount AND if you pay via Paypal in $ rather than £ it's cheaper. I paid about £15 (in $) for BOTH of mine, some people have paid more than that for just one!

Appears to be unlimited in both cases.
When I back up onto USB I seem to have 5,000 records now

Custom - lets you add fields you want (very easy)

When I register on sites invariably it asks
Password and Confirm password.
In custom field I have
Password = Eyeball
Confirm password = Eyeball
Reconfirm password = Eyeball

or for example

Reconfirm email = Eyeball@email.co.uk

Also when referring to friends I have

Friend 1 = Sexy Su
Friend 2 = Juicy Lucy
Friend 3 = Naughty Natalie
Friend 4 = Bendy Wendy

then friend's email

different sites have different formats so you find your custom section becoming bigger and bigger

etc

Hope that makes sense!

You always get Roboform slightly cheaper once you have purchased your first copy, you just need to give your sales ref. I have mine on 4 machines now.

There are also versions that live on USB, and something that will let you sync each one together. I haven't tried either if those yet through.
My light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly :)

Our Precious Baby Tianna has now joined our Family, she is much loved and very welcome, xxx

Hey - can I ask a question? How come some of you have won so much...? I've been entering loads of competitions since the beginning of January and must have entered hundreds, but not won anything! Some of your signatures show you have won loads!! Am i missing something or shall I just keep going??

As they say,You have to be in it to win it.I've been comping more seriously since winning a trip to NY in June ,last year. Most weeks I enter about five hundred comps plus the multiples like ITV,GMTV and Take a BReak etc.I won quite a bit this year. The big break for me was starting to use roboform. If only I'd heard of it last year:rotfl:
