I'm afraid the whole of comping is pure luck but there are a few who are unbelievably lucky! :rolleyes:

I win a bit, the only thing/things i prob do different is i enter everything that allows in mine and oh's name,( i don't enter every single comp as alot of the stuff has no interest for me) obv 1 entry per household and itv's,ipc i don't, i also still firmly believe that the majority of my wins come from entering the night before they close, i spend the day doing dailies, monthlies etc xxxxx

But it is luck and everyone has their own little quirks to their comping xxx

i think its part of bein a comper havin dry patches and feeling dispondant
but live in hope of a win roound corner
as well as posts from that day i always check by ending date and usually 2-3 days ahead

Well I have not had a bad month, maybe not as good as last month which was fantastic, but am still thankfull for every comp item I win big or small
I was feeling sorry for myself this morning saying i havent won anything for myself at all thins month, mainly for the kids lol and i had a WEM to say i have won the slimming patches so thats fantastic as I need them rofl!

I think sometimes - well I no I do anyways now - I sort of expect the postie to bring me something each day lol! and in reality it aint happening at all haha!
But like many people say wins are a bonus and not something to be expected and thats what i keep reminding myself lol

I enter at LEAST 100 a day including postals, some dailies (when I get chance), monthlies etc. I tend to win, usually, something every week & averages over £100 a month. Last year I won over £2,500 worth in January alone so compared to that I am well behind this year LOL but I do it for fun, I love comping & when I do win it makes it all worthwhile but don't do it JUST for the wins ITMS otherwise you can be disappointed.

I dont think you can give odds on the chances of winning, its pure luck, although saying that i only started in January and have won Man Utd v Spurs tickets, Aston Villa v Stoke tickets, Blackburn v West Ham tickets, UFC tickets, 12 Books from Waterstones, Tickets to legoland, and the latest was ... Nail varnish, plus a number of smaller prizes, i tend to only enter contests that have a prize i can use (or a family member), but i seem to have been fairly lucky so far.
