Can someone please explain this crossword to me? Thanks.

    (It's in a local magazine to win a meal locally ;) )

    AA-ZZ prize crossword

Fill in the grid with the correct answers, it should contain at least two of every letter.

So, I think it means it must contain at least two of every letter

Then I see Alien spaceship (3)
I think the answer is UFO but UFO does NOT contain two of every letter. It is not UUFFOO but UFO

Then I see Barrel of beer (3) and I think it is KEG but keg does not contain two of every letter

Then I see TV sci-fi show with ghosts and aliens (1-5) and I think it is X-files but X-files does not contain ............... you get my drift.

Can someone kindly explain the crossword please? Thank you.

I think it means that the whole crossword (not each individual answer) should have 2 of each letter, that means there must be at least 52 blank squares to fill in. That's what it sounds like to me

The way i read it the whole crossword should have 2 of each letter, so say if clue 1 had D as an answer
another clue would also have D in the answer xxx
unless im totally off track xxx

My guess would be that there are at least two of every letter in the entire grid?

Thanks that reminds me, there's a spot the difference to win a meal in a local free mag................
That ain't working! That's the way to do it, money for nothing and TV's for free ;)

I think they mean once you've finished the whole crossword the grid as a whole will have 2 of each letter in it :)

I was wondering whether what you put as your name affects your chances of winning....is there a chance that you'd probably not win.or be chosen winnee if you u use your initials instead of your name...eg A One, instead of Any One...or P Panther instead of Pink Panther...

    ADDED:
reminds me, anyone know what happened to Pink Panther/opodo comp? that did look nice...
EDIT: had a look on their site, says they had the draw yest..so probably find out next week I guess
also, how much percent of comps do you think are fake? by which I mean, not realy awarding prizes..or just data gathering/marketing purpose ones..IYKWIM...
happy to be back after about 8 year hiatus...!
