Thanks Josie301 for your reply. I have been looking in to the Comper's Inn for quite some time, but recently each time I tried to get in there it seemed stuck at Part 8, and took ages to find the last post. I think what it was, DH wanted to use the computer a while ago and I asked him not to lose my place. Somehow he saved Competitions Time to my desktop with an icon. I was accessing the comps section through that. But it looks as if it's stuck in a time warp, and refreshing didn't help. Anyway, I think it's sorted now. Thanks for your help

Hiya, just a quick question about absolute radio competitions if people dont mind?!

I was lucky enough to win a Netbook the other day, (for which I can thank kipper enough - it will be very useful for my partners uni course!!) but I have received an email today confirming that I had won the prize, as I was previously notified by phone, and there was the following sentence that surprised me;

"Thank you for taking the effort to enter this competition. In accordance with the Absolute Radio's terms and conditions, please refrain from taking part in all Absolute Radio competitions for a period of six months. This will allow a fair and even opportunity for thousands of other listeners who have never won a prize on the station."

Is this a normal thing to have in their terms and conditions? I have already entered a few more competitions before I received this, so do my entries get rejected out of hand? I do agree that it would be nice if the prizes were spread out between more people, but to me 6 months of not entering their competitions seems excessive!

What are peoples opinions?

I agree with spread the wealth, but did you wait the whole six months if you dont mind me asking?
