Just a quick update, emailed Sophie at Telegraph yesterday and got an automatic "out of the office reply". Postie never brought another parcel today so emailed later this afternoon asking Sophie to confirm if she had received my email.
I then got an email direct from a lady at Austique apologising for the error -she said hamper should have included five items and she asks me what products I want to make up the shortfall, either additional items from Belle Etoile range or various others which she emailed me the link to. The reason for the error she said was:
There was a time delay in the prize being put together and then actually being run in the magazine and unfortunately Christmas fell in between. We have discontinued some of the lines in the range in the meantime and are out of stock of them.
Hopefully she'll accept that I only received four items and not the five she thought. Have yet to email her back to let her know what I want.
Shame that the lady at the Telegraph couldn't have emailed me back to say she'd passed my email to Austique though.
Happy with the result though it's a shame I had to contact them at all. So glad I took the advice from here (thank you to you all) and emailed her, I do hope the other winners of the prize have also queried the content of the prize (not sure whether any MSErs won but if they have hope they read this).
Thank you to you all again

Well that's a positive outcome, well done for persevering. As you say, will anyone else notice they have been short-changed?Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams
