That's bad isn't it? What was the actual hamper like, worth the extra £140?

The items came in a white box with a pink ribbon round, the contents were sort of poshly wrapped in pink tissue paper, hard to explain, like the paper was lain in the box, with a few extra bits on top for padding and then the tissue paper was held together by a label - difficult to explain but not very hamper-ish I don't think.

If the comp is still accessible online (the actual comp, not the MSE posting), might be an idea to get a screenshot showing the £250 value quote, just in case......

  • If you search google for telegraph + one or 2 keywords, you should get the main link & if the page is cached, there will be a small link below the main one. I know they don't cache every site, but they do most of them, so there's a good chance :)

  • Oh what a shame - and nearly everything else on the page has a cache except that! Sorry! :(

Not to worry CC, I'll bear your advice in mind for the future if something similar crops up again

Soz for sticking my nose in (:D), but I searched for etoile on the telegraph site and it brings up this:

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/search/?queryText=Belle+Etoile

Not the comp page the the blurb about it being worth £250, dunno if that will be any good to you.

    Good luck anyway :D
