ya know I think I have seen that person lurking about the boards somewhere, one day you look and the post count is quite high - earlier I saw them with 15 posts, but probably next time I see the user it will be right down again:D:D

thank you, everyone on the main board gives us brill comps to enter so i try to do my bit by adding the mags comps i buy, am not very good at finding web comps 'cause by the time i've received the updated comps in mailbox they've all ready been posted here :rotfl:everyone's too quick for me :rotfl:

i explained the online form wasn't submitting the entries & had been like that since last thursday afternoon, plus on the other issues it was doing the same, the lady then put me through to the dept. concerned with the comps entries, explained the problem again, was then told to wait while they investigated the problem.... upshot of it .. the reason why is because there have been over one million entries for the full house competitions so therefore the online form had exceeded it's quota, was then advised to try again in 24 hours while the team sort out the problem, so hopefully it should be up and running in the next 24 hours,

so looks like you've got to wait till tomorrow to enter if you haven't all ready ..

that's all i can do for now , if it's still not working tomorrow i'll phone again.

I’m really sorry about this – we’ve been experiencing some technical problems which are being sorted out at the moment (basically, we’re so popular that all the entries have bunged up the system!) but everything should be running normally again by the end of today.
Once again, apologies for the inconvenience and please get back to me if it still hasn’t cleared by tomorrow.

Do you enter the comps by closing date or the ones posted on the day? There's a good 20 pages of comps posted daily :eek:

I am caught up, so do them as they are posted.
I usually finish off about midnight and start where I left off the night before after work the next day - I have my pages set to maximum threads so its easy enough to keep up.

Doesn't seem long since a busy day was 6 or 7 pages - now it can be double that :eek:

I always go through the pages daily, but sometimes bookmark some to enter later rather than entering them straight away - esp. Radio Times etc

lol - I do the same - radio & radio times are bookmarked for the 'quieter' times.

I find a lot of the posts are dups or bumps - It does take time sifting through to find what you want to enter, but tis all good fun!
