Maybe they've been attacked or whatever its called by those bot things..
My light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly :)

Our Precious Baby Tianna has now joined our Family, she is much loved and very welcome, xxx

I'm a comping newbie with a quick question. I got some scratchcards in "Wedding" magazine run by Jackpot UK. I've looked at the rules and there appears to be phone call, text and post methods for getting the collection number, phone call and text methods seem to be pretty expensive, but would be covered by my cash prize, but I'm more interested in doing it cheaply ie by post. Do people win if they request their collection number by post, or do they get conveniently ignored? Any other advice gratefully received.

sorry, I never look at all the litter that comes in magazines, I just bin it. I was under the impression that you only ever win very cheap cameras etc

BabyGiant they were unhelpful in that they said there was nothing they could do if texting stop didn't work and there was nothing they could do to refund.

A huge thank you to all who post the comps and deals that make life so much fun!

I wouldn't normally either, but I've been looking at ways to try to pay for my wedding, so I was wondering about what the catch was (afterall there's always one), but if I can get around it, it should be worthwhile. I won't be entering the one that says I can win a car (or a cheap mp3 player), but a minimum cash payout of £20 seems like it might be worth it.

 gosh no, i didn't mean that, got a few comping mates that buy thier own mags and post thier answers on diff forums, i prefer this one, they like thier own preferred site, sometimes we help each other out with the puzzles, lots of people buy the tues/thursday mags & do the same puzzles
so at the end of the day they're posted on lots of forums, not necessarily copied ..

I believe there are a number of "ghost" compers on MSE, who have high post counts and thanks on other forums, for things they've copied from here  But then I am aware of one MSEr who copies from another site

Swings and round a bouts ;)

sure, you'll always get people copying, know of a few certain persons who copies the majority of the puzzler/puzzle comps / real people / etc & the main board comps from here and post on another site which i'm not a member of any more but have friends on there that keep me updated & let me know,
wouldn't think anyone on here would need to copy from another site when all i've seen is this site usually has all the comps listed first ..

sorry Korky I meant that a bit tongue in cheek! I do think there is some copying that goes on, but as Al says swings and roundabouts...

I just think it's fab that you share the answers with all of us :)
